The bill (Reg. No6504) is aimed at the improvement of the legislation that regulates relations connected with the conduction of general meeting of an economic association (joint-stock company and limited liability company) aimed at prevention of blocking of the general meeting conduction by the minority members.
In particular it is envisaged to reduce the number of the stock-holders and participants of limited liability company votes necessary for the recognition of such repeated general meeting of these enterprises types from 60% to 50%.
The Committee members stated that the bill according to the subject of its legal regulation belongs to the sphere of the legislation under the company, legal relations of which in European Union is regulate by the Agreement of Founding of European Community, Directive (2007/36/EU) of the European Council and Council on Use of Certain Rights of Stock Holders in listing companies, Standing Orders of the council No2157/2001 on Statute of the European Community.
In the result of the analysis the People´s Deputies declared that the bill harmonizes with the Legislation of the European Union.
